3. Projekte

The Hieroglyphs of Kingship: Italy's Egyptian Monuments in Early Tudor England
This project presents the first analysis of British Library, MS Royal 12 C iii, a version of Horapollo's Hieroglyphica, which I show to be the earliest extant illustrated copy, a prospective gift from Filippo Alberici to King Henry VII of England. Research for this article has been awarded a Henri Frankfort Fellowship to be held at the Warburg Institute in 2013.
