The thematic website presents prints, which appeared between 1500 and 1900 as a result of the debates on the excavations and findings of antique cultures in the Mediterranean.  The digitized prints are from the German Archeological Institute at Rome and the Heidelberg University Library.

A part of the digitized sources are academically commented and contextualized.
